Kinesio Tape Red

KINESIO TAPE is a very thin, porous cotton fabric with a medical grade acrylic adhesive. A special method of adhesive application and porous nature of the fabric allows the skin to breathe and showering cleans part of the skin under the Tape. Kinesio Tape is designed for a 30 to 40% longitudinal only stretch and when applied lifts the skin and provides support for surrounding soft tissues.

KINESIO TAPE was designed to be worn for 3 to 4 days and an hour after application it will withstand athletic activity and showering without coming off. Proper application does not require multiple layers of Tape; due to location of muscles, an application may cross over another application.

KINESIO TEX ® TAPE promotes motion as our bodies were designed to move using the Kinesio Taping Technique. The technique relies heavily on insertions and origins of muscles. When in a relaxed state, skin properly taped with Kinesio Tex ® Tape will have natural wrinkles (convolutions).

KINESIO TEX ® TAPE theoretically will lift the skin to increase the space between the skin and muscle. This reduced localized pressure help promote circulation, lymphatic drainage and lessens the irritation on the subcutaneous neural pain receptors. As an end result, the Kinesio Taping Technique reduces pain, swelling and muscle spasm; and subsequently promotes the body’s natural healing processes. Additionally, the built in stretch of the tape supports fatigued, weakened and/or strained muscles.

KINESIO TEX ® TAPE is Latex free and non-medicated.

Each roll of Red (Hot Pink) Kinesio ® Tape Tape is 2” x 16.4’ (5 meters).
